St. Mark NJHS to participate in CCC's annual Hunger Walk
Our NJHS students will be taking part in the annual Hunger Walk to benefit the Community Caring Center, a local charity with which St. Mark has a long and proud history of supporting. The walk will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2013 with registration and warm-up at 7:30am. The walk itself begins at 8:00. It will begin outside the Schoolhouse Museum on Ocean Avenue and proceed across Federal Highway to A1A and back, a total of two miles. Family members and friends are also encouraged to walk with the students to help us provide a true atmosphere of family and community. As we do not currently have NHJS t-shirts, all students should wear St. Mark attire (P.E. shirts preferably) to represent our school as best they can. The CCC is requesting a $10.00 donation or a donation of non-perishable food items for participants. Mayor Hay will be joining us on the walk.
